Lee County is rolling out the red carpet for celebrity pets during the month of March. Some famous felines and canines have taken up residence at the Lee County Domestic Animal Services shelter. Spin the lucky wheel for a chance at a reduction in your adoption fee from $5 to $25. With the 90th Academy Awards ceremony set for the first weekend in March, pets at the shelter that are up for adoption will have names of the stars such as Ingrid Bergman, Marlon Brando, and Jack Nicholson to name a few. The shelter is open to the public Monday through Saturday at 5600 Banner Drive in Fort Myers. Adoptions are available from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

 

For information about this week's pets, call 533-7387 (LEE-PETS) or log on to Animal Services' website at www.LeeLostPets.com. When calling, please refer to the animal's ID number.

The website updates every hour so you will be able to see if these or any other pets are still available.

The shelter is open for adoptions from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Saturday, excluding holidays.

The Shelter is located at 5600 Banner Drive, Fort Myers, next to the Lee County Sheriff's Office, off Six Mile Cypress Pkwy.

All adoptions include spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccinations, rabies vaccination & county license if 3 months or older, flea treatment, worming, heartworm test for dogs 6 months & over, feline aids & leukemia test for cats, microchip ID, and 10-day health guarantee.
The adoption package is valued at $500.
